If I had to describe myself, I’d say I’m a visual storyteller with a passion for capturing emotions, light, and the beauty of human connection. My name is Plamen Dimitrov. Originally from Bulgaria and now based in Montreal, I’ve always been drawn to the power of images to tell stories and evoke emotions—a passion that has made photography a constant companion throughout much of my life.

As a portrait photographer, I specialize in creative photoshoots, studio sessions, and event photography. My approach combines an artistic eye with a strong focus on lighting, composition, and the unique personality of every subject I work with. Whether it’s crafting an innovative concept for a photoshoot or capturing the raw emotions of a special event, my goal is always to deliver images that feel personal and timeless.

In addition to photography, I am a visual effects artist with experience working on some of the biggest films and series in the industry, including Shazam, Fantastic Beasts, House of the Dragon, Maleficent, and Fast and Furious. This background has given me a deep understanding of visual aesthetics and storytelling, which enhances my approach to photography.
